Director’s cut of the commercial celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Parco Nazionale dell’Alta Murgia. I tried to portray this land — shaped by generous gazes and centuries of labor — through an audiovisual stream of consciousness. The challenge I gave my brother-in-art Carmine Calia for the original score was to throw us straight into the action without warning, without sentimentality, without intro or outro. To hammer the most remote corners of our human solidarity with his massive synths, before abandoning us to the thunderous voice of his now legendary organ. The beautiful aerial cinematography by Domenico Loguercio does not linger on an epic tone, but rather attempts to convince us that everything is still there, unchanged for centuries, before that man at sunset — my dear friend Cecerosso Gravina — opens the portal to a vision rooted in the earth, from which everything comes to life.
